She looks sweet but she will leave you sweaty and pushing boundaries. Her favorite style to teach is Rocket Yoga and a fun Power Vinyasa. When she isn't teaching she is a full-time mom, accountant and plant whisperer!
Lex comes to us from all over (no, really, ask her and see if you've ever crossed paths)! She is an RYT 200 and Hot Holds instructor. She completed her training in 2019 from Hot Asana Yoga University. She teaches yoga full-time and has her own private practice, too. Her favorite class to teach is a Vinyasa style class. When she isn't at the studio, she is playing in the dirt and being an excellent plant mom (and dog mom)!
Lauran started practicing yoga to find balance her in life and accounting career back in 2014. After a few years, she took the leap to become and CYT 200 in 2018 with her local studio. She brings in mindfulness, breath control, and dad jokes. You'll be motivated and find the perfect balance to your practice in her class.
Alex began her journey with yoga after experiencing debilitating pain and injuries from a background in endurance athletics. However, it was experiencing the mental benefits and community around yoga that made this a lifelong practice. With a background in Bikram and Ashtanga, she evolved her focus to vinyasa as her primary style to teach and practice, with creative and strength-based flows as her favorite. Teaching all over the United States, she is passionate about sharing this amazing form of movement with elderly, disabled, and also underserved communities.
Jocelyn is a free spirited traveling yoga teacher. She earned her 200 hour certification from Nomad Yoga School in Costa Rica and now teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga. When she’s not in the studio, she is exploring around the globe or planning her next adventure.
Abbey was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She began her yoga journey in 2009, attending weekly classes. Having been a gymnast all her life, the postures were exciting and as close to "adult gymnastics" as you could get in Memphis. But the breath work and meditation were challenging and kept her coming back! She began a daily home practice in 2013. In 2017, Abbey completed a 50 hour FLY intensive in Boulder, and a 200 hour Ashtanga/Vinyasa teacher training certification with Bodhi Yoga Academy in Bali. She is excited to share her love of yoga and being upside down with yogis on the Emerald Coast! Abbey graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Christian Brothers University in 2011.

In his classes, he creates a welcoming and calming environment. Exploring powerful poses with a gradual approach and encouraging an alignment of the mind and body into the present moment.
You can catch Nicci on our schedule and guiding workshops with Roast'd Yoga Bar! She received her 200 hr training from Sumits Yoga Memphis and went on to receive her 300 hr training from Destin Yoga Academy. Her favorite style to teach is a balanced flow yoga practice where you focus on breath and core control.
Lindsay discovered her love for yoga early on when she began taking classes regularly as a teenager. At first it just began as a way for her to stay in shape and connect with family (her mother is also a yoga teacher) but very quickly she realized that yoga was so much more than that. Her passion led her to study at Innersea Yoga Academy in Uvita, Costa Rica not once, but twice! At 24, she is a RYT 500 who has studied vinyasa, ashtanga, yin, and yoga nidra. She is also a certified Reiki Master. Yoga has been the bridge that has allowed her to heal, and to grow into the space of healing others. She sees herself as an eternal student and will always be delighted to gain knowledge from others, share philosophies, and live as an example of what it truly means to be a yogi: mind, body, earth, spirit all delicately intertwined by breath!
After a lumber back stress fracture in 2012, Sierra discovered yoga, and somehow healed far sooner than what the doctors expected. Amazed with the mental health benefits as well, she felt an immense desire to share with others. Sierra earned her 200 hour certification in 2016, after studying under Sid McNairy at Sid yoga center in Towson Maryland. Sierra has always felt called to alternative methods of healing and self discovery… forms of exercise physically , mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Sierra began teaching in 2016, at fitness centers, studios, addiction centers and lacrosse teams. Sierra earned her undergraduate degree from Towson university in health and physical education, where she enjoyed lacrosse and soccer. Since moving from Baltimore, Sierra works for a Montessori school, Didactic Wonderings forest school, as a VPK gymnastics coach and youth lacrosse coach. When she’s not in the studio, you can catch her gardening, wood burning, or finding new hiking spots.
Raised in a military family, Chelsea spent her early years moving frequently before eventually settling in Southern California. In 2014, she relocated to North Carolina to be closer to family, and a place she now considers home base. In 2019, Chelsea embarked on a new adventure, moving to Okinawa, Japan, just before the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic. During a brief respite from lockdowns, she attended a yoga class on the beach in March 2021. This experience would profoundly change the entire trajectory of her life. She discovered a passion she hadn't known she was searching for and began practicing multiple times a week. Her love and dedication to yoga quickly led her to enroll in the 200-hour yoga teacher training at The Yoga Tree Okinawa in October 2021. Upon graduating, she was honored to be invited to stay on as an instructor. While in Okinawa, Chelsea gained valuable experience working within the military community, helping to develop yoga programs for the 18th Component Maintenance Squadron at Kadena Air Base. In October 2022, she furthered her practice by completing a 300-hour yoga teacher training with House of Om in Bali. Upon returning to North Carolina in December 2022, Chelsea continued her journey when she was invited to teach at Hot Asana in downtown Southern Pines. Eager to expand her knowledge further, she completed two additional trainings in 2023: a 25-hour "Hot Holds" teacher training at Hot Asana in September, and a month later, a 50-hour Inside Flow training in Portugal in October. After teaching full-time for the last two and a half years, she recently moved to Navarre, Florida, and is thrilled to be joining the team at Roast'd in Destin. Chelsea looks forward to sharing her passion for yoga, movement, music, and mental health awareness while continuing to grow with this wonderful community.
Phillip completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in March of 2022 with Stacey Vann of Breathe Yoga and Wellness in Pensacola, Florida. He now teaches several classes in the Fort Walton Beach/Destin area ranging from Restorative yoga to Hot Yoga, as well as a beginner’s class. He brings his rich and well-rounded life experience and depth into each of his classes, and is fully devoted to growing his own practice and sharing his knowledge with others.
He was first introduced to yoga while running for the cross country team at Navarre High School through stretch warm-ups. Immediately after completing his very first class Phillip became instantly enamored with the openness with which the class left him feeling. From that moment, he decided to devote his life to the practice and eventually the teaching of this wonderful gift.
Jen received her 200-hr RYT from My Vinyasa Practice. In 2021 she completed her Prenatal certification for pre- and post- natal yoga. She is a marine biologist by trade and brings her love of the ocean into her flows. She is currently on hiatus bringing the newest addition to the Roast'd Family into the world! Catch her after maternity leave!
Annie started practicing Pilates and Yoga
in 2010 and immediately fell in love with both practices. She knew in her heart that eventually teaching would be her calling. She could easily see how both complement each other.
After years of being in the broadcast industry, and a stay at home mom, Annie had an opportunity to work in the fitness industry at Club Pilates in Sarasota, FL. This lead to her 500 hour comprehensive Pilates certification in 2018. She has taught for Club Pilates ever since.
Annie moved to Galveston, TX in 2021. At this time she decided it was finally time to work on her 200 hour yoga certification.
In 2022, Annie completed her 200 hours and became a RYT200 at Island Salt Air, a Baptiste Yoga Community. She taught both in the studio and community classes on the lawn of the Grand Galvez.
Annie is very passionate about her clients, teaching and movement! This is very clear in every class she teaches! She now resides in Miramar Beach with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
